Tom graduated with a bachelor’s of law and he embarked his journey in the legal field, beginning in general practice firms where he honed his skills across various legal domains, including criminal law, conveyancing, immigration, and humanitarian law.
His career trajectory led him to some of Sydney's most esteemed criminal law firms, where he thrived in advocating for clients facing a spectrum of criminal charges, from minor traffic violations to the most serious offences like historical sexual assault and large-scale drug importation.
He continues to regularly represent clients in a variety of criminal and driving offences. He has appeared in the Children’s Court, Local Court, District Court, and the Supreme Court of NSW. Tom has also appeared interstate in Queensland and Victoria.
Since his early days in general practice firms, Tom found himself drawn to the complexities and challenges inherent in criminal cases. His experiences representing clients in diverse legal matters reinforced his belief in the importance of criminal law as a vehicle for upholding societal values and ensuring fair treatment under the law.
